Guest LAN Settings

You can manage the Guest Network by these settings. Another sub-net will arrange for the Guest Networking.

DHCP Lease Time should be including in 300 to 1048575.

Guest WiFi Settings

Guest Network Name(SSID):

Enter a value of up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The same Name(SSID) must be assigned to all wireless devices in your network. We strongly recommends that you should change your networks Name(SSID) from the default one to an other different value. This value is also case-sensitive. For example, Wireless is not the same as wireless.

Enable Guest Network

The control of this router can be enabled or disabled to allow wireless access for a Guest Network.

If Enabled, the second SSID will be able to access..
If Disabled, the second SSID will not be able to access.

Security Encryption (WEP)

Encryption Mode:

Select the WEP Encryption level:

  • Disable - no data encryption
  • 64-bit (sometimes called 40-bit) encryption
  • 128-bit encryption

Authentication Type

Select the appropriate value - " Open System" or " Shared Key." Check your wireless card's documentation to see what method to use.

Encryption (WEP) Key

If WEP is enabled, you can manually or automatically program the four data encryption keys. These values must be identical on all PCs and Access Points in your network.

Automatic - Enter a word or group of printable characters in the Passphrase box and click the Generate button. The four key boxes will be automatically populated with key values.

Manual - Enter ten hexadecimal digits (any combination of 0-9, a-f, or A-F) and select which of the four keys will be active.

Security Encryption (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK)

Passphrase

Enter a word or group of printable characters in the Passphrase box. The Passphrase must be 8 to 63 characters in length. The 256 Bit key used for encryption is generated from this passphrase.

Key Lifetime

This setting determines how often the encryption key is changed. Shorter periods provide greater security, but adversely affect performance. If desired, you can change the default value.
